Q : Who identifies/selects the store site?

A : The interested applicant is required to recommend a site subject to evaluation and approval of the franchisor.


Q : What is the minimum space requirement?
A : The recommended space requirement is 40 – 50sqm, high foot traffic area such as major malls, major community malls, major university etc. Ideal target market class B and C.


Q : Who does staffing and recruitment?
A  :  Franchisee  selects  and  recruits  the  store  crews/staffs, franchisor will conduct screening & tradetest before franchisee hires.

Q : Do you provide trainings?
A  :  The  franchisor  provides  all  necessary  trainings.  Part  of  the  training  program  will  be conducted at the head office and in commissary/plant, one (1) day for orientation, three (3) days for store management and one  (1)  day marketing training, ten (10) days for mastery on baking,  (10) days for cashier service training. The rest will be held on-site at the franchisee’s outlet.

Q : What is your marketing support?
A : Marketing supports will be provided before, during and after the store was opened. However, franchisee is required to submit/recommend its quarterly marketing programs all throughout the franchise term. All proposed marketing plans, mechanics and materials will be evaluated by the franchisor. From time to time, franchisor will also conduct its national/store-wide marketing programs as its marketing support to the franchisees.



Q :  How long is the Return of Investment?
A : Depending on the sales performance of the store, the salaries and wages, the number of employees and the rent are the most common factors affecting the rerun of investment. But the ideal ROI is 30 months.



Q : What factors do you consider before giving a franchise?
              Those who can meet documentary and financial requirements in franchising the store .
              Those who can devote his time in operating the business.
              Those who are not currently franchisees of the bread franchising industry.
              Those who are not involved or with pending civil or criminal cases in any courts of the Republic of the Philippines.
              Those who can successfully pass the required trainings.
              Those who have ready and approved sites.
              Those who can operate the franchised store within 60 days after the franchise agreement have been executed.
              Those can immediately tender the required down payment.

Q : Where can we purchase our supplies?
A : ANTZ The Bread Factory has its own commissary. Raw materials are already pre-mixed. All supplies the store will be needing shall be supplied and accommodated only by our commissary. Corresponding delivery charges shall be evaluated and be charged based on the volume and distance of the requesting store.


Q : How about promotional activities?
A: No marketing and promotional activities will be implemented without the evaluation and approval of the franchisor. All marketing and promotional materials, mechanics and collaterals will be approved by the franchisor.


Q : Can we have the franchise in installment plan?
A : Cash payment with the payment terms of 30% down payment and 70% before delivery of equipment is encouraged to avail one hundred thousand pesos discount. However, financing through our affiliate banks is also feasible. However, discount is no longer availab le.

Q : Do you terminate the franchise agreement?
A : Both franchisor and the franchisee have the legal right to terminate the franchise agreement. The franchisor can terminate the franchise should the franchisee cannot meet the standards as set forth at the franchise agreement by the franchisor. On the same manner, the franchisee can also terminate the franchise within the bound of the franchise agreement should he wishes to discontinue operating the franchised outlet.
